This e-book is a true reflection of how I eat on most days. I rarely follow recipes to a tee, and tend to reserve elaborate meals for weekends and guests. Our weekday meals are fuss-free and tend to be simple combinations of ingredients I’ve prepped on the weekend.
To be clear, this guide is not about batch-cooking (making a large batch of one recipe to eat throughout the week). I don’t know about you, but when I see those pictures of the same meal pre-portioned into individual Tupperware containers on Instagram, I think, “Who has that many containers of the same size?!” And also, “Who wants to eat the same meal every single day?”
This guide is about prepping foundational elements that can be mixed and matched into different meals, like grain bowls, sandwiches, salads, toasts, and more.
Think of it like a capsule wardrobe, but for your fridge.
It features tips and techniques for prepping my 4 go-to staples: whole grains, legumes, vegetables, and sauces, followed by ideas for how to transform these pre-prepped ingredients into complete meals.
